New segment:
CRITICAL REVIEW OF LIBRARY-RENTED MEDIA
(i.e., appreciation of public services, student living, being a cheapskate)
CONGORAMA(2006)
Directed by Phillipe Falardeau. A French dramedy full of loose ends, family ties, twists, and "a-ha" moments. The story details a mediocre French-Belgian inventor and his search for his biological parents. This movie had some farts moments, but I found it painfully awkward to watch at some points. The cast is full of memorable characters including the main character, Michel (played by Olivier Gourmet).Gourmet was notably successful at playing a passive-aggresive, frustrated loser. All in all, it's worth watching twice, if only to catch all of its quirky idiosyncrasies.
MY RATING: 6.5
Have a great weekend. Schoolwork is calling me!
